Got a yeast started going this morning for my upcoming Bavarian Dunkelweizen brew. I’ll be using the SafBrew WB-06 wheat beer yeast. There is a debate over whether a starter should be used with a dry yeast, but I’ve had such good results that I can’t find an argument against it.Plus, I like to jump on any chance to use a beaker, flask, test tube, or other scientific equipment at home.
