I’ve also been hard at work on a new IPA recipe. I’m using Austin Homebrew’s clone of Green Flash’s West Coast IPA as a starting point. I made that once before, and it was fantastic. Oatmeal Stout Recipe
I’ve been working on a new recipe for an oatmeal stout. I’m starting fresh on this one, basing it completely on the info in Designing Great Beers.

Framboise Cranberry Sauce
I made an early Thanksgiving dinner this weekend (long story). One of the highlights was a cranberry sauce made using a bottle of Lindemans Framboise. It turned out very well, although I’ll add an extra 1/4 cup of sugar next time.

Brooklyn Brewery Tour
Yesterday, I took a tour (again) of the Brooklyn Brewery. They’re in the middle of a huge expansion, and it’s been fun to watch them fill out their new space. Here’s a quick shot of their new kegging line, which can fill 100+ per hour.
